Allen is a West Point Graduate, a Vietnam Veteran who sacrificed both legs in battle at Dak To in 1967. In the process of healing he found his soul and he applies his experiences to help others heal and persevere in the face of trials and tribulations. For a veteran or military group, Allen can present a talk on his healing from his wounds and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that required a fourteen week stay in 1968 in a closed psychiatric ward, from which he healed and went on to achieve success in a corporate and then political career. He enjoys sharing his trials, triumphs and lessons learned to motivate others to succeed in military, career, spiritual and general life capacities.

"VOICES" PROGRAMS:
Allen's wife, Linda, is a storyteller/dramatist. She performs dramatic presentations in first person singular of great women in the Bible. She writes her own scripts and designs and makes the costumes. She does women like Ruth, Esther, Lydia, Sarah, the Woman at the Well of Samaria, and Pilate's wife. She has presented to numerous church groups (of varied denominations), Bible studies, youth groups etc. for many years. Her programs average 30-45 minutes in length. She could do several of these programs for a women's retreat or gathering and can follow each or all with a personal teaching and testimony.
Allen can follow in joint presentations with her such as following her Esther with "Military Miracles of the Israeli Defense Forces" (for best effect, need DVD capability on screen); following her Sarah with "Ishmaelites and Israelites, Conflicts Then and Now"; following her Ruth with a teenage girl group presentation of "Relationships Before Romance." These joint presentations are for 60-75 minutes when they present together.

Allen and Linda have no set fees or charges for their programs for veteran, military, school and civic group audiences. Travel and lodging expenses are helpful and appreciated. If an honorarium or gift is given, it is deposited directly to their ministry fund from which no personal compensation is taken. Only direct ministry expenses are paid from this account.
